Unity Slackers

Being a part of the Unity game community is really important to me. I really enjoy the people, working together on projects, learning together and helping educate others. That’s why I’m a Unity User Group Organizer in New York.

Last year I think? I helped start a Slack server “Unity Slackers” for all the Unity User Groups to share with members so we can all have a group conversation but also learn from one another no matter where in the world we live. It’s gotten pretty big! The Slack itself is open to anyone but we thought pushing through the user groups would be a good way to start it off.

How do I sign up for Unity Slackers?

  • Sign up here, you’ll receive an email with all the information.

How can I contribute?

  • Be active in your local user group and on Slack
  • Help people with questions and be patient with them.
  • Share cool things you’ve create or discovered.

Remember, this community will only improve if you help it.

What can Unity Slackers do better?

We always want to improve the community on Slack. Here’s a short survey for the broad questions (no limit on choices) but please leave your own feedback in the comments on this post. We really want to know what we can do better and hear it in your own voice.
